Tour the Vaults of the
Nickle Galleries
Agora is partnering with the Nickle Galleries here on campus in order to give students a hands-on experience with their collections. On November 22, at 4:00 pm, the Numismatics Collection Specialist Marina Fischer will be leading a tour of the numismatics vault and discussing the history of coins.
Agora Trivia Night
Join us at 5:00pm on November 16th for Classics & Religion themed trivia at the Last Defense Lounge in Mac Hall! We welcome you to bring your friends or come alone for a fun night of discussion and testing your knowledge.

Stop by, grab a snack, and get to know Agora members, other CLARE students, and faculty. We would love to get to meet you, answer any questions you may have, hear what sort of events you would like to see from us this year, and just chat about what interests you!
We will be in the Arts Student Lounge in the Social Sciences building on October 7th from 1-4pm. Everyone is welcome!

General Meeting
We will be meeting at 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 7th in order to hold the election of our 2022/2023 Executive Council, as well as discuss and vote on any amendments to the Agora Constitution.

We are continuing our series of online movie nights, featuring introductions from some of our CLARE Department professors. This month, we will be watching “Roma" by Federico Fellini with Dr. George Ferzoco!

Movie Night
Our series of movie nights - featuring introductions from some of our CLARE Department professors - continues! This time we are working with UCalgary’s Chacmool Archeology Association to put on a special archeology edition!
Our CLARE Department Head Dr. Marica Cassis will introduce the movie “Queen of the Desert", so join us at 5:30pm on November 25th for the showing.

Humanities Students Symposium
Join Agora and Chacmool in The Den & Black Lounge at 5:30pm on December 1st to get to know other UCalgary students and discuss our shared passions.
Students from CLARE, Archeology, Anthropology, Philosophy, History, Art History, and any other department are welcome!
Vaccination proof is required for entry. If you plan to attend, please RSVP in the AGORA Discord server via the poll under “Announcements”.
